Festival Musica à Strasbourg

Oscar Bianchi has just added Ajna Concerto, his first piece for large orchestra, to a cycle consisting of Matra (cantata premiered in Strasbourg in 2007) and two brilliant scores for instrumental ensemble (Anahata Concerto and Vishuddha Concerto). Drawing from the same Indian philosophical sources and demonstrating the same virtuosity, this creation reflects the composer’s character which is as bubbly as it is spiritual.
